New Delhi: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) organized its 80th Annual General Meeting here on Tuesday. Speaking at the meeting, Union Agriculture Minister Mr. Sharad Pawar said, "Agriculture has registered a remarkable growth of more than 4 percent during the last two years and this has been possible mainly due to technological interventions and weather-based farm advisories developed and recommended by the ICAR. Timely supplies of inputs also provided the impetus for higher agricultural production and productivity."
