Chapter on Super-30 in Japan book

PATNA: Bihar's maths wizard Anand Kumar of Super-30 fame has made it to a book in Japan that revolves around the development story of India. Published by 'Bhushan' publishers, the book 'Indo No Shougeki', or Impact of India, has one chapter exclusively on Kumar's struggle and his Super-30 initiative under which 30 poor students are coached free to crack the prestigious IIT-JEE (Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination) every year. The chapter, in Japanese language, has been written by a senior journalist of a TV channel of Japan. Priced at 1800 yen, the book describes Kumar as a 'wind of change' that has been contributing to India's rapid progress. It says that education is at the root of India's progress march and people like Kumar are providing strength to it. GATE 2011 results declared

Chennai: GATE 2011 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) results have been announced at GATE offices of IISc (Indian Institute of Science) and seven IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) today. Candidates can check the result on its official website: http://www.iitk.ac.in/gate/gate2011 . Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination, which is conducted every year for the direct admission to M.Tech courses at the IISc and the seven IITs. GATE this year was conducted online and offline on 30 January and 13 February. The overall coordination and responsibility of conducting GATE 2011 lies with Indian Institute of Technology Madras. GATE qualification is also a minimum requirement to apply for various fellowships awarded by many Government organizations.

ICAI to declare PE-II, PCE results on July 30

New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will declare the results of Professional Education II and Professional Competence Examination (PCE) conducted in May, 2008 on 30th July, 2008 around 12 noon. The results of the Management Accountancy Course (Part-I), Tax Management Course (Part-I), Corporate Management Course (Part-I) Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) and International Trade Laws & World Trade Organisation (ITL & WTO) Examinations held in May, 2008 and the Information Systems Audit (ISA) Assessment Test held on 21st June, 2008 will also be declared on the same day at the Institute's office in the capital.The link of the results of the above Examinations/Assessment Test will be available through
