Aligarh Muslim University Starts it's Admission Process for B.Tech and B.Arch Courses
Aligarh: The admission process for B. Tech and B. Arch courses at Aligarh Muslim University starts on June 27 at the University's engineering faculty. Prof. S. Mahdi Abbas Rizvi, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, informed that for the first time in the history of the University, new procedure for the completion of admission has been adopted by using biometric identity check and data process. The data regarding thumb impression, signature and photograph of the selected candidates were collected electronically for the automatic and computerized identity check before the completion of admission. He further added that after the completion of admission, the Dean, Faculty of Engineering will issue a Biometric Smart Card for all future verification. He further said that the admission will be completed on June 30, 2011 and the classes will commence on August 2, 2011, after Summer Vacation.
