Mixed response to COMED-K Test
BANGALORE: Except a couple of stray incidents of sale of fake question papers and impersonation, the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) conducted by COMEDK went on smoothly, with more than 60,000 candidates appearing for the exam. Many candidates were happy with the conduct of the exam and the difficulty level. COMEDK Executive Director Dr S Kumar informed that the examination was conducted in 79 test centres in Bangalore and 26 centres in other parts of the state. About 87.1 per cent of the total number of registered candidates attempted physics and chemistry, 88.72 per cent mathematics and 86.36 per cent of them gave the biology test, he added. Engineering aspirant Soumya Rao found the mathematics and chemistry papers easy and physics tough.
