IGNOU Announces Admission to M.Ed.
Master of Education IGNOU invites applications for admission to Master of Education (M.Ed.) Programme for the academic session commencing January, 2010.The M.Ed. Programme launched by IGNOU through distance mode, is an innovative professional development programme. It has been designed and developed jointly by Distance Education Council (DEC), IGNOU and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the two bodies. The main purpose of the programme is to prepare educational experts capable of generating knowledge by the application of scientific methods of inquiry. These experts will be enabled to prepare teachers for diverse situations. The M. Ed. programme will also provide an understanding of the process of education by cutting across a number of professional areas concerning special/inclusive education, ICT enabled education, human rights, responsibilities and values, environmental concerns and gender issues.The eligibility f...
