3.5 lakh to sit for EAMCET amid tight security
HYDERABAD: Nearly 3,47,319 students will take the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test- 2010 (EAMCET) to be held in 668 centres across the State on Sunday. The initial key for EAMCET will be released on May 26 and marks will be revealed within 15 days after the examination. However, the final ranks are likely to be announced on July 1 after the Board of Intermediate Education announces the results of advance supplementary examinations. While 2,78,801 candidates are expected to appear for the engineering entrance examination, 68,518 are expected to sit for the agriculture and medical entrance test. EAMCET-2011 convenor NV Ramana Rao made it clear that latecomers would not be allowed into the examination hall, even if they are late by one minute. They should be present an hour before the scheduled time at the test centre.
