Country's first Accountancy Museum inaugurated at Noida
Noida: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today opened the doors of the country's first Accountancy Museum here at the ICAI Bhawan, Noida. The museum was inaugurated by Mr. Ved Jain, President, ICAI. The Vice President Mr. Uttam Prakash Agarwal and all the Council members were also present on the occasion. The museum has been established by the ICAI with an aim to share and preserve the heritage of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) profession and commemorate the diamond jubilee year of the institute. The museum also provides a journey through various stages of the glorious past of the CA profession in India and the conception and growth of ICAI. Focus of the museum is on the accountancy practices in ancient, medieval and modern India.
