Science Exhibition in Mumbai from November 20

Mumbai: With an aim to inspire young minds to pursue a career in the field of Science, the Deputy Director of Education, Government of Maharashtra will organize the P-ward Science Exhibition 2008-2009 on a ward-level basis from November 20 - November 22, 2008. The exhibition, arranged by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT), will be held at Infant Jesus School, Malad (W), Mumbai from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The theme of this year's exhibition will be 'Science and Technology for Global Sustainability'. The sub-themes at the exhibition include: - Agricultural and Food security - Saving energy / harnessing energy - Conservation of natural resources - combating climate change - Disaster management - Mathematical modelling Other exhibits at the exhibition include topics on Population Education, Adult Education as well as Teaching Aid projects by the Junior Teachers, Senior Teachers and a project by the Laboratory Assistant.
