Delayed results worry students seeking PG admission
KANPUR: The delay in declaration of results by CSMU has left many students in the lurch. Several students who have been selected in various diploma and post-graduate courses can't take admission in the same as their results are awaited. "I had applied for MCA programme and have even cleared the entrance test but the delayed results are cause for worry. If the university results are not declared before the counselling session, I will lose the opportunity to join the course,'' said Meenakshi, a student of CSMU. Hers is not a lone case. Those who have applied for direct admissions in B Tech II year course will suffer the most, as one can get direct admission into B Tech II year only if he/she has already completed BSc. "The students are in no way responsible for the delay in results declaration. We are thinking of starting an agitation against the delay,'' said Sandeep, a student of BSc final year of CSMU.
