New Delhi: A five-day residential programme on 'Reporting of Court Proceedings' will be organized jointly by the Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) and National Legal Services Authority in association with the Press Council of India and Editors Gild of India. 50 journalists / senior correspondents from various newspapers, channels and news agencies have been selected for the residential training programme . New Delhi: Proving the clichéd talk 'sky is the limit' as real, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and the India branch (at Mumbai) of Orlando-based American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AH&LEI) recently tied up to start a 'School of Tourism and Hospitality Service Sectoral Management (SOTHSSM)'. Apart from Tourism, the school will develop Hospitality courses as well.The SOTHSSM has already launched its first academic programme for bachelor degree in International Hospitality Administration (BA-IHA) under an upgraded programme. . New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Monday announced its plans to start a six-month certificate programme in 'community radio' from January next year. IGNOU Vice Chancellor V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai informed that the programme will be launched in partnership with the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (CEMCA). He also said that over 150 scholarships will be on offer for students opting for the course. Plus two pass-outs and community workers working towards raising the socio-economic profile of the marginalized will be entitled for the scholarships. New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) will jointly start specialized courses in B.Com with major in financial & cost accounting and M.Com in management accounting & financial strategies at IGNOU.
