CHRISTCHURCH – ALABASTER SCHOLARSHIPS 2011 – UNIVERSITY OF CANTERBURY
Austin Henry Alabaster, Esq, who died in 1920, bequested to the University of Canterbury an endowment for scholarships in classical literature in memory of his father, the Reverend Charles Alabaster. Two scholarships are offered annually to matriculated and undergraduate students of the University of Canterbury or, under special conditions, a scholarship may be offered to a graduate. The University of Canterbury offers over $13.5 million in scholarships and prizes annually to help fund our students study.
