ATMACHETNA – INTERNATIONAL PARENTING CONFERENCE 2010
Specific objectives of the conference are to: * create awareness among various stakeholders (parents, teachers, policy makers, experts) about importance of effective parenting. * provide new and relevant information and skill development for parents. * provide a forum to assist in the development of networks between people and organisations working with parents. * create a platform for people and institutions to learn from each other’s experiences, strengths and questions. * bring together a range of people and organizations who have delved deeply into issues related to raising happy kids. * find ways to influence policy formulation and decision making at local, state and national levels to create effective programmes for kids and parents.
