Colleges and Universities in Norway
The decentralization of Norwegian education system is part of the country’s educational policy. It is with this purpose that University colleges across the country were set up to make higher education more accessible. Higher education in Norway can be divided into two major sectors: the university sector and the college sector. All institutions of higher education in the country are subject to the Authority of Ministry of Education, Research and Church Affairs.
