MBA ADMISSION in IISWBM – KOLKATA MBA ADMISSION 2009 – IISWBM – KOLKATA Introduction : IISWBM conducts Master’s Degree programmes of Calcutta University in Business Administration in the day (full-time) and evening (part-time) sessions. Students of full-time MBA are admitted through the Common Admission Test (CAT) jointly held with IIMs. Course Details: There are 16 Compulsory papers in the First year followed by the Summer project in between the First year and Second year. In the Second year there are 4 Compulsory papers and 9 Optional papers of which 6 papers are in the Major area of specialisation and 3 papers are in the Minor area of specialisation, followed by the dissertation. Duration: 2 years full time Eligibility: Honours in any discipline or Graduation in any professional course like Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, etc. Admission Procedure: CAT in Nov.
