PG Diploma: Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DGO), Orthopaedics (D.Ortho), Ophthalmology (D.O.), Otorhinolaryngology (D.L.O.), Paediatrics (D.C.H.), Anaesthesiology (D.A.), Radio-Diagnosis (DMRD), Dermatology, Veneroleogy and Leprosy (DDVL), Clinical Pathology (DCP), Psychiatry (DPM), Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD), Public Health (DPH)
Eligibility Criteria: The Indian National candidate is eligible to appear for AIPGMET-2013
The candidate passed final MBBS examination from a recognized medical college is eligible
The candidate who has obtained registration either from the MCI or from authorized State Medical Council after completing one year compulsory rotating internship
The candidate who is still undergoing one-year compulsory rotating internship and is likely to complete it by 31st March, 2013, will be permitted to appear at the AIPGMET-2013
His/Her selection will be subject to completion of compulsory rotating internship of one year and registration before 15th April, 2013
He/she will have to submit documentary evidence from the Principal/Dean of the College regarding the anticipated date of completion of internship along with the application, failing which, his/her application shall be rejected
If a candidate who does not fulfill any or all the above requirements or fails to pay the fees at the time of counseling he/she will not be considered eligible for admission irrespective of his/her appearing for AIPGMET-2013 examination and securing a rank in the merit list
Post Graduate aspirant will be required to submit prescribed form of the AIPGMET-2013, available on the Vidyapeeth website and/or included in information brochure
Admission Procedure: Candidate should obtain 50% or more marks at AIPGMET-2013 to qualify for admission
The provisional selection for the general seats in the post graduate courses will be done on the basis of merit in All India post graduate medical entrance test (AIPGMET-2013)
Entrance Test: The candidate shall attend AIPGMET-2013 at his/her own cost
No marks will be assigned where there is overwriting, scratching, double marking, or multiple answers
The examination medium will be English
300 objectives type multiple choice questions (MCQs)
Each MCQ will have four answer options with a single best response
There will be no negative marking
Admit Card: The candidate shall fill the relevant information in the admit card and dispatch the same to the university along with his/her entrance test application form
The admit card will be sent by post/courier on the address of the candidate two weeks before the entrance test
In case, the candidate does not receive the admit card of the admit card is lost, he/she should contact the Controller of Examinations (Tel 020-27420156) Office, Pune immediately for the issue of duplicate admit card
Application Form: Application forms are available on website http://admissions.dpu.edu.in
Information brochure along with blank application form will also be available at the university office on payment of Rs 1,500/- cash or demand draft in favour of the Registrar, Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, payable at Pune drawn on a Nationalized/Scheduled Bank
If required by post the candidates will have to send a demand draft of Rs 1,750/-
Candidates should fill in the application form in his/her own handwriting clearly and legibly
The examination fee for AIPGMET-2013 is Rs 2,000/- (for late submission is Rs 2,500/-) which should be paid at the time of submission of application form in the form of demand draft drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Registrar, Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune, payable at Pune
The downloaded application form, duly filled in, along with necessary documents and a demand draft of Rs 3,750/- (covering form fee plus test fee plus postage) should reach the university office before the last date of submission of form
The candidate should submit photocopies of the following documents along with the application form; statement of marks of I/II/III MBBS exam; attempt certificate; MBBS degree/passing certificate; internship completion certificate; registration certificate (MCI/State MC); age and nationality certificate; bonafide certificate from Dean; transfer certificate; migration certificate; proof of date of birth
