Post Graduate Diploma in Management three year (part time) evening program, is designed and developed for working professionals and entrepreneurs with executive or supervisory experience who are interested in acquiring high quality management education whilst continuing with their current job

The part time program is AICTE approved and culminates in a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) similar to that of a full time PGDM program

This evening program is intended for individuals in their early or mid career phase and do not want to take a break from their respective jobs

Admission Procedure: Candidates interested for this program will not have to appear for XAT entrance test

However, they will have to appear for a personal interview and assessment test alongside the interview

Programme Highlights: The first batch of the program will commence from August, 2012 at XLRI campus

The programme involves rigorous coursework of 900 plus contact hours spread over 3 academic years from August, 2012 to May, 2015

Normally each term will be 11 weeks along with 2 weeks of gap between two consecutive terms

Out of the 11 weeks the first 10 weeks will be for classes and the last week for examinations

However, a few terms may be shifted or stretched longer if necessary

The program allows flexibility of working whilst learning

Classes will be held during evenings on weekdays and on weekends

Terms are scheduled to accommodate work, personal commitments, important festivals and year end work pressure of participants

Separate experience sharing seminars for peer learning and live industry projects under expert guidance

Eligibility: Candidates who have completed three years of Bachelors degree or equivalent in any discipline, recognized by a University or Deemed University, are eligible to apply

Minimum two years of executive or supervisory work experience after graduation in an organization or as an entrepreneur

Selection: The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for personal interview and assessment, held at XLRI campus during 25th-30th June, 2012 (tentatively)

The candidates are not required to take any common entrance examination

However if they have written any of the well established, credible management entrance examination in the last two years, they are encouraged to send the copy of the scores along with the application

Candidates called for the personal interview may be asked to take an assessment test along with the interview

Fee: The fee structure for this programme is Rs 7.5 lakhs and has to be paid in installments as decided by the institute

The fees for the three years will be Rs 2 lacs + Rs 2.5 lacs + Rs 3 lacs respectively

Please submit the print out of the filled in application form, enclosing proof of graduation, proof of work experience and demand draft of Rs 1000/- in favour of XLRI Jamshedpur payable at Jamshedpur to the Admission Office, XLRI School of Business and Human Resources, CH Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001

Interested candidates have to download the application form from XLRI website and submit completed application form along with requisite payment to XLRI Admission Office latest by 07th June, 2012
