MBA (Master of Business Administration)
MHRM (Master of Human Resource Management)
MCA (Master of Computer Applications)
MBA, MHRM: Three year bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or graduation (with a total of 15 years of education) an any discipline from a recognised university
A person who has appeared at the examination for bachelor’s degree and is waiting for the result, or is appearing at the bachelor’s degree examination, may apply for admission; but his/her candidature will be cancelled if he/she fails to produce necessary documents proof of his/ her having passed the bachelor’s degree examination at the time of admission
Duration: 2 years
Admission to MBA and MHRM programmes will be through a Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Group Discussion and Personal Interview
The MAT will be conduct at different centers in the country by AIMA-CMS, New Delhi
MCA: Three year bachelor’s degree in Physical Science / Commerce / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science from a recognised university or Graduation (with a total of 15 years of education) an any discipline with mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level from a recognised university
A person who has appeared at the examination for bachelor’s degree and is waiting for the result, or is appearing at the bachelor’s degree examination, may apply for admission, but his/ her candidature will be cancelled if he/ she fails to produce necessary documents proof of his/ her having passed the bachelor’s degree examination at the time of admission
Duration: 3 years
For MCA, Admission Test be conducted by the Institute
How to apply: Interested candidates can obtain the application form and information brochure from the institute in person against a cash payment of Rs 1500/- for General category candidates and Rs 750/- for SC/ST candidates
Application form and information brochure can also be obtained by post by sending a money order or bank draft of Rs 1600/- for General category candidates and Rs 800/- for SC/ST candidates drawn in favor of Director, LN Mishra Institute of Economic Development and Social Change, Patna
Application Submission: The completely filled application form must reach the Registrar, LN Mishra Institute of Economic Development and Social Change, 1, Bailey Road, Patna-800001, on or before the 31st May, 2012

Overseas Muslims' forum honours Muslim students in India

Agra: The American Federation of Muslims of Indian Origin (AFMI) has honoured 77 Muslim students from across the country for educational excellence in Class 10 and 12 examinations as part of its mission to boost education among the minority community. The students, from 18 states, were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals at the annual convention of the federation by Haryana Governor A.R. Kidwai late on Saturday evening. The AFMI is a north America-based grassroots organisation to advance the cause of Muslims and other underprivileged masses in India. "Seventeen years ago, we had a dream to see an educated, thriving and a prosperous Indian Muslim community. We feel the community's salvation lies in education. It was, therefore, decided that our major activity will be in the field of education.
