City aces CAT with two perfect scores

MUMBAI: The city has produced the highest number of candidates scoring a perfect 100 percentile in the Common Admission Test this year.

About 1.86 lakh candidates who took the entrance test for admission to India's Indian Institutes of Management can access their results on Wednesday on www.catiim.in.

Mumbai threw up two of the eight toppers while Pune produced one. One student each from Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Indore and Bangalore also bagged a cent percentile. Last year 11 candidates touched this top-score.

Nineteen people this year scored 99.99 percentile, the next best score. This guarantees a call from the top IIMs. Three each are from Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.
