CANMORE NORDIC CENTRE – SKI FEST 2011

At the Canmore Nordic Centre, we will be skiing on the same trails, used frequently by many Canadian and international Olympic athletes for their training and competitions. You will find also a short race for the kids and many other festivities for small and big skiers. The schedule is being finalized at this time. We would like to celebrate the end of the cross country ski season in style and we hope that you will join in! If you would like to contribute to this competition in any way, please contact us immediately. We do appreciate any kind of help or support, being it volunteering during the race or donating some goods or money towards the competition. All net proceeds will go towards a fund at the Rocky Mountain Adaptive Sport Centre, which will allow people with special needs to participate in the Nordic programs offered by RMASC.

Registration: Athletes for the 12/24 hrs races can register through the contact page and send a check (payable to Canmore Ski Fest) to the race office at PO Box 8463, Canmore, AB, T1W 2V2. Registration fee will increase by $20 per person starting February 1st, 2011.

Volunteers : To cover all aspects of this event, we will appreciate any volunteer help we can get. Due to the nature and length of the main race, we will need to multiply officials on various stations and work on shifts. We are looking for:
* Race Officials
* Race Course Technicians
* Aid Station Supervisors
* Parking / Traffic Controllers
* Culture Program Liaison
* and many more…
