Loyola College launches PG diploma in film making



Chennai: A one -year PG diploma course in film making has been launched by the Department of Film making, School of Media Studies, Loyola College.

The course has been launched with an aim to inject required skill in young aspirants for film making.

Students will be imparted skills in creative thinking, image making, screenplay writing, planning and budgeting, production management, practical direction, editing for meaning, contextualising special effects, sound sense, film economics and film ethics.

Eminent technicians of the industry will teach the students.

The course will be made flexible and offered in different shifts. "Director Bhim Singh awards" will be given for best screenplay, direction and editing to toppers after the completion of course.

Students having plus two degree or pursuing plus two are eligible for the course. Admission will be given on the basis of an aptitude test and interview.
