Govt approves new dental college at Sitapur
Sitapur (Lucknow): The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has given its approval to a new dental college in the name of Vinayaka Mission's Dental College & Hospital at Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.
The college, affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur, has also been approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
An official release from the Ministry said that the college will admit 50 students in the academic year 2008-09. The permission will be valid for one year and the college will admit only one batch of students during the academic session 2008-09.
The next batch of students will be admitted in the college only after renewal of permission by the Central Government, the release further said.
