Post Graduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution (Proximate Education) (9th batch) 2013
Delays and arrears in courts are causing frustration and hardship to the disputants
The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods such as Arbitration, Conciliation, Mediation are being actively encouraged by the Govt and the Judiciary to provide a mechanism for speedy justice to the disputants at less cost
There is a great demand in India for ADR Practitioners in view of manifold increase in business and commerce
The candidates can practise independently in the field of Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation and their skills and services can also be utilized by the courts while implementing Section 89 of CPC
The diploma course has a comprehensive syllabus designed by NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad with emphasis on simulation exercises and contact classes
Eligibility Criteria: The minimum eligibility for the diploma is graduation
Admissions are now open for the 9th batch for the academic year 2013
Duration: The duration of the course is 9 months
Contact classes will be held at Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and other places depending upon the availability of minimum number of candidates
Application Form: Interested candidates may obtain the prospectus-cum-application form from the Secretary, ICADR, 10th Floor, Gaganvihar Building, Opp Gandhi Bhavan, MJ Road, Hyderabad-500001 (Tel 040-24745165), by payment of Rs 250/- either in cash or by demand draft/pay order drawn in favour of ICADR payable at Hyderabad

The application form duly filled in should be submitted to ICADR on or before 31st January, 2013
