All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (AIPGMET)-2013
All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test-2013 (AIPGMET-2013) will be conducted for admissions to various Post Graduate Medical Courses under DY Patil Medical College, Kolhapur, a constituent college of D.Y. Patil Education Society Deemed University
AIPGMET- 2013 will be on 07th February, 2013, Thursday, 12.00 Noon to 03.30 p.m.
Post Graduate Courses
M.D.: Radio Diagnosis, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, General Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, Pediatrics, Physiology, Phychiatry
M.S.: Anatomy, General Surgery, Opthalmology, Opthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopedics, E.N.T. (Otorhinolayngology)
Diploma: D.G.O., D.Ortho, D.C.H.
Eligibility: The candidate must be an Indian National
The candidate must have passed MBBS examination from a recognized medical college and should have obtained final registration either from the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or Maharashtra Medical Council or concerned State Medical Council after completion of one year rotating internship training
The candidate undergoing one year rotating internship training and likely to obtain final registration certificate from the Medical Council of India, New Delhi or State Medical Council on or before 15th April, 2013 can also appear for the entrance test
Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate from the Principal/Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of rotating internship training failing which his application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected
Test Center: DY Patil Medical College, Kolhapur
Hall Ticket: Hall tickets carrying photograph of the candidates shall be issued to the candidates who are eligible to appear for the entrance test
The candidates will have to collect hall tickets from the office of the university on 06th-07th February, 2013
The hall ticket must be presented in the examination hall for verification of candidate’s identity when instructed by the invigilator to do so and also at the time of counselling and admission
Selection Procedure: The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidates taking into consideration the preference given by theme and availability of seat in the branch/ discipline of his choice when it is his turn for counselling
The result of the All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test-2013 in the form of merit list arranged according to the marks obtained by the candidates containing names of the candidates will be declared on 27th February, 2013, 05.00 p.m. at the university office and on website
Admission Procedure: The candidates will be called for counselling on 21st and 25th March, 2013
At the time of counselling the eligibility of the candidates for admission shall be verified from original documents and those found eligible will be offered admission to a course
Application Form: A candidate desirous of appearing for All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test of this university will be required to submit application in the prescribed form along with attested copies of the documents in support of application
The fee is payable by demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, DY Patil Education Society Deemed University drawn on a nationalized/schedule bank, payable at Kolhapur
The candidate should write his/her name and address on the reverse side of the demand draft
The last date for receipt of completed application form along with requisite documents and entrance test fee at the university office is 25th January, 2013, 05.00 pm. (with late fee of Rs 1000 /- upto 02nd February, 2013)
