Post Graduate Programme Admission-2013

Two Years Full Time Post Graduate Programme in Global Business Operations (a specialised course in management of international business)
Shri Ram College of Commerce is a premier institute in the field of business education in India

GBO Programme: It specifically deals with management in the areas of Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Trade, Marketing and Information Technology in the context of International Business
The University of Delhi awards a PG Diploma in GBO on successful completion of the programme
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in any discipline with 50% marks from a recognized university
Final year students may also apply
Reservation: Reservation for OBC/SC/ST/PwD will be as per university rules
Written Test: Admission test will be held on 27th January, 2013, Sunday, 10.00 a.m. at Amritsar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Guwahati, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Trivandrum
Selection: Selection will be on merit, to be determined on the basis of admission test, group discussion and interview
Placement: Students have been well placed in leading organisations such as Reliance, Mckinsey Knowledge Centre, DSCL, Price Waterhouse Coopers, GE Countrywide, ICICI Prudential, IMRB, IFCI, TFCI, Pipal Research, Centurion Bank of Punjab, Dawnayday AV, Trident, Capital IQ, GE Money, ONGC, TISCO, NABARD etc
Application Form: The prospectus and application form can be obtained from the Section Officer (Admin) from 23rd November, 2012 between 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. and 02.00 p.m. to 04.00 p.m. (Monday to Friday) on payment of Rs 1000/- (Rs 600/- for OBC/SC/ST/PwD) by cash inclusive of admission test fee
If required by post, send a bank draft of Rs 1100/- (Rs 700/- for OBC/SC/ST/PwD)
The draft should be drawn in favour of Principal, Shri Ram College of Commerce payable at New Delhi
Write your name and address on the back of the bank draft
Application form can also be downloaded from the college website www.srcc.edu
Online admission facility is also available through college website www.srcc.edu or www.admissionhelp.com/srcc for which payment can be made by using all master and VISA credit or debit cards/ITZ cash card/net banking and also cash at selected branches of Axis Bank
Last date for submission of completed application form is 31st December, 2012, Monday

Hope and jobs for students at Delhi University's job fair

New Delhi: At a time jobs are becoming scarce and pink slips the order of the day with the global meltdown, there is reason to cheer. Delhi University's newly-launched Central Placement Cell has provided jobs to at least 200 undergraduate students with major companies, including IT major Wipro, pharma giant Ranbaxy and BPO major Genpact. The first phase of recruitment took place between Dec 8 and 10 in which around 154 students got employment. The second phase, which began Jan 21 and ended on Tuesday, ensured jobs to 45 applicants, while 440 short-listed students are awaiting results of their applications. "Around 4,564 students from 48 colleges participated in this job fair in which around 200 students have been ensured good position in top companies. The response of the students was good," Seema M.
