Tobacco Control Course Admission-2012

Distance Learning Courses on Tobacco Control

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) considers tobacco control research as a priority focus area in Public Health, PHFI has a department dedicated to Health Promotion and Tobacco Control which offers short-term courses on Tobacco Control through distance learning for Health Professionals, legal professionals, administrators, law enforcement officers and journalists and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Promotion (applied focus on Tobacco Control) (PGD-HPTC)

Short Term Courses

Duration: 3 months each
Course Fee: Rs 7,000/- (for Indian candidates, non-refundable); 400USD (for International candidates, non-refundable)
Post Graduate Diploma in Health Promotion (applied focus on Tobacco Control) (PGD-HPTC)
Duration: One year
Course Fee: Rs 20,000/- (for Indian candidates, non-refundable); 1100 USD (for International candidates, non-refundable)
Mode of Delivery of STC and PGD-HPTC: Online
Eligibility: Candidates with a graduate degree in Medicine/Dentistry/Nursing/Pharmacy/ Psychology/ Biological Sciences/ Social Sciences/Allied Health Sciences/ LLB/Mass Communication or equivalent can apply
Working experience in Health or Social Sciences field will be given preference
