BA (Hons)/BBA (Hons) Admissions-2012

The School of Liberal Studies, a constituent School of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, was launched in 2009 its undergraduate program in Liberal Studies
Students get a chance to learn courses like Communication Skills, Basic Sciences, Social Sciences, Management, Humanities, Foreign Languages and Performing Arts and to develop their hidden potential before they settle on to their in-depth study in Major and Minor of their choice
The school provides choice based learning system
PDPU has excellent academic infrastructure and a stimulating environment to support all round development of the students
Eligibility: Candidate must have passed any of the following qualifying examinations
The 10+2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Education, including Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi
Intermediate Science or two-year Pre-university examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University
Final Examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy
General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level
High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University
Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in Foreign Countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system
Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects
HSC Vocational Examination
Selection Process: Candidates will be admitted based on their rank in the written test and personal interview

Last date of applying to SLS: 18th June, 2012, Monday
Written test in PDPU: 23rd June, 2012, Saturday
Display of admission list: 24th June, 2012, Sunday
Admission formalities, fees collection and enrollment: 25th-29th June, 2012, Monday
Last day to cancel admission with full refund (for candidates in the first list): 29th June, 2012, Friday
Operating waiting list: 30th June, 2012, Saturday
