Applications are invited for the following programmes for the academic session 2012-13
M.Tech: Computer Science and Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Printing Technology, Nano Science and Technology, Optical Engineering, Food Engineering, Geo-Informatics
MCA (Master of Computer Application)
M.Sc: Applied Psychology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Food Technology, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Physics, Advertising Management and PR
M.Pharm: Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy
Master of Physiotherapy (M.PTh): Musculoskeletal Disorders, Sports Physiotherapy, Neurological Disorders, Pediatric Physiotherapy
Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Pharmacy (LEET) 2nd year, Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Admission Form: The university prospectus containing admission form and other details are available in Academic Branch on payment of Rs 800/- (Rs 200/- in case of SC/BC candidates of Haryana)
The same can also be obtained by post upto 21st June, 2012 by sending written request along with demand draft of Rs 850/- (Rs 250/- in case of SC/BC candidates of Haryana) in favour of Registrar, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar payable at Hisar
Admission form and other details are also available on the university website www.gjust.ac.in
Such candidates who download the admission form must attach a bank draft of Rs 800/- (Rs 200/- in case of SC/BC candidates of Haryana) in favour of Registrar, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, payable at Hisar
Admission form complete in all respects must reach the Chairperson concerned, by 29th June, 2012 upto 05.00 p.m. as given in important information in the university prospectus
Incomplete admission forms or those received after the due date shall be summarily rejected
The admission forms will be accepted only on working days from Monday to Friday, except holidays

Commencement of on counter sale of university prospectus: 01st June, 2012
Last date for receiving request for issue of university prospectus by post: 21st June, 2012

Hope and jobs for students at Delhi University's job fair

New Delhi: At a time jobs are becoming scarce and pink slips the order of the day with the global meltdown, there is reason to cheer. Delhi University's newly-launched Central Placement Cell has provided jobs to at least 200 undergraduate students with major companies, including IT major Wipro, pharma giant Ranbaxy and BPO major Genpact. The first phase of recruitment took place between Dec 8 and 10 in which around 154 students got employment. The second phase, which began Jan 21 and ended on Tuesday, ensured jobs to 45 applicants, while 440 short-listed students are awaiting results of their applications. "Around 4,564 students from 48 colleges participated in this job fair in which around 200 students have been ensured good position in top companies. The response of the students was good," Seema M.
