Admission notice for distance learning correspondence course

Post Graduate programme in Human Rights

Duration: two years

Eligibility: Graduates of any disciplines

Prospectus and admission form: Available on payment of Rs 50/- (fifty) by cash from the institute’s counter or by sending MO/IPO/bank draft of Rs 50/- (fifty) in the name of Indian Institute of Human Rights payable at New Delhi along with complete postal address of the applicant

Examination Centres: Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Baramulla, Bareilly, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Kota, Lucknow, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Nagpur, Port Blair, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar, Shimla, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Varanasi, Vishakhapatnam

Annual examinations will be held in June and December every year

New centres may also be opened

Last Date:Completed admission form along with first year fee must reach the admissions office by registered post only latest by 28th February, 2012

Hope and jobs for students at Delhi University's job fair

New Delhi: At a time jobs are becoming scarce and pink slips the order of the day with the global meltdown, there is reason to cheer. Delhi University's newly-launched Central Placement Cell has provided jobs to at least 200 undergraduate students with major companies, including IT major Wipro, pharma giant Ranbaxy and BPO major Genpact. The first phase of recruitment took place between Dec 8 and 10 in which around 154 students got employment. The second phase, which began Jan 21 and ended on Tuesday, ensured jobs to 45 applicants, while 440 short-listed students are awaiting results of their applications. "Around 4,564 students from 48 colleges participated in this job fair in which around 200 students have been ensured good position in top companies. The response of the students was good," Seema M.
