NIFT Opens Admissions to Graduate, PG Courses

New Delhi: National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is conducting entrance test for admissions in B.Des., B.FTech, M.Des, M.F.M. and M.FTech courses on February 12, 2012.

Candidates, who have done their 10+2 in any discipline, can appear for B.Des. while for taking M.Des. exam, a candidate should be 10+2 with Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics. For M.Des. Undergraduate degree or Diploma in UG Design from NIFT/ NID is required.

To opt for M.F.M., a candidate must be holding Undergraduate Degree or Diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT/ NID while to appear for M.FTech., B.FTech. from NIFT or B.E/ B.Tech. from any other institute/ university is required.

Besides this, candidates appearing in the qualifying examinations can also apply provided that they complete their course by the time of counseling/ admission and produce the proof of the same.

Those who want to appear for Bachelor Programme, their maximum age should be 23 years as on Ist November, 2011.

The last date for the submission of application forms is January 10, 2012.
