JRE Group of Institutions Inaugurated

New Delhi: JRE Group of Institutions, an academic partnership with two world class education service providers - Raffles Education Corporation Limited, Singapore and Educomp Solutions Limited, India was inaugurated on 5th of August, 2011. The event was inaugurated by Mr. K.C. Chakrabarty, Deputy Governor, RBI.

Mr. K.C Chakrabarty shared his views on the issues and challenges faced by the Indian education system. He emphasized on the need and importance of education saying, "Education is vital to the human resources development and empowerment in the stages of growth of a nation" He also went on to add that the role of institutions becomes more challenging in the modern world with innovations and technological developments." JRE has always aspired to create exactly this - an atmosphere in which students gain experience via exposure to real world problems hence adding skills that are crucial in diverse business situations. Mr Chakrabarty's remark on the role of institutions becoming more challenging in light of modern world innovations and technological developments, struck a note with all the academicians and students present. While closing his speech, he mentioned that major challenges that lay ahead were that of educating masses, updating curriculum and preparing teachers for the future.

Mr. Shantanu Prakash, Chairman & CEO, Educomp Solutions Ltd spoke about how the JRE courses are designed to empower students "through quality education focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship and benchmarked Engineering and Management techniques." Since JRE has a 24/7 interactive learning system, it ends up being a two way learning process for both the students and the faculty.
