Management Aptitude Test (MAT) September 2011 Date -04 SEPTEMBER 2011 (Sunday)

Paper Based Test - 04 sEPTEMBER , 2011 from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm
Computer Based Test - 10 September 2011 (Saturday) onwards**
**If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and can be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed on 10 Sept 2011 itself.

Entrance Test for MBA and Allied Programmes of over 160 Business Schools

Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Courses

How to apply: Candidate can choose any one of the three modes to apply

* Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, listed Study Centres of AIMA and from AIMA, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

or

* Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1050/- (One thousand fifty only) in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website www.aima-ind.org/matsep11 alongwith the DD details. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.

or

* Register online at website link www.aima-ind.org with Credit Card payment. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.


How to take the test: Candidate can choose any one of the two options

Paper-Pencil Test or Computer Based Test (Online Test)

• Paper-Pencil Test will be held on 04 September 2011. The paper-pencil test timing is 1000 – 1230 hrs. Reporting time at test centre is 0900 hrs

• Computer Based Test (Online Test) will be held from From 10 September (Saturday) onwards in different time slots at specified test venues; subject to number of candidates registering for Computer Based Test.

Candidate can choose any one of the following modes to apply.

* Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, listed Study Centres of AIMA OR against cash payment of Rs 1050/- (One thousand fifty only) from AIMA, New Delhi.

or

* Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1050/- (One thousand fifty only) in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website www.aima-ind.org/matsep11 alongwith the DD details. Detailed procedure is given on the website link.

Hope and jobs for students at Delhi University's job fair

New Delhi: At a time jobs are becoming scarce and pink slips the order of the day with the global meltdown, there is reason to cheer. Delhi University's newly-launched Central Placement Cell has provided jobs to at least 200 undergraduate students with major companies, including IT major Wipro, pharma giant Ranbaxy and BPO major Genpact. The first phase of recruitment took place between Dec 8 and 10 in which around 154 students got employment. The second phase, which began Jan 21 and ended on Tuesday, ensured jobs to 45 applicants, while 440 short-listed students are awaiting results of their applications. "Around 4,564 students from 48 colleges participated in this job fair in which around 200 students have been ensured good position in top companies. The response of the students was good," Seema M.
