Matrix India to invest Rs 50 cr in MPIS

KANPUR: Matrix Partners India announced on Thursday that it will invest Rs 50 crore in funding Maharana Infrastructure and Professional Services Private Limited (MIPS).

An amount of Rs 35 crore will be invested in MIPS in September this year. MIPS is one of the largest service providers to education institutes in north India. The company is currently providing service at all levels of education right from kindergarten to UG and PG courses.

"MIPS will provide education support system to various established and budding educational organisation. The company will spread its wings to entire north and central India," said Shailendra Bhadauria, chairman and managing director, Maharana Infrastructure and Professional Services Private Limted.

Amit Kapoor, director, Matrix India said: "MIPS has an innovative business model to address the needs of country's fast growing education sector."
