MAHARASHTRA – PGTPPE ADMISSION 2011 – NATIONAL POWER TRAINING INSTITUTE

NPTI weaves formal education with industry oriented specialized skills to cater to the needs of Power Sector .In one of its most successful attempts to create a pool of Technically trained man power for ready availability for recruitment by PSUs /SEBs /Power Utilities. NPTI launched a one year Post Graduate Diploma Course in Thermal Power Plant Engineering ,in 1996 recognised by AICTE, at its institutes in New Delhi, Nagpur, Durgapur and Neyveli. The PG Diploma Course is having an exceptionally encouraging response and many Power Companies recruited this trained man power through campus recruitments over the years. This course is for fresh and practicing Graduate Engineers for a period of one (1) year and the intake is 50 seats at each of the four (4) Institutes. 25% of the seats are reserved for candidates sponsored from power sector organisations.

Eligibility : Announces the commencement of One-year Graduate Engineers Course (Thermal) from second week of February 2011 fulfilling the mandatory requirements of Indian Electricity Rules, 1956 amended in 1981. Eligibility: B.E. or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation

Age: For Non-sponsored candidates, the age limit is 30 years as on 31.12.2010. No age limit for the sponsored candidates. Last Date for receipt of application: 20.12.2010.

How To Apply : Application on plain paper typed in English along with the demand draft of Rs 400/- in favour of NPTI-NER payable at Guwahati should reach the Director / Unit Head latest. along with two passport size photograph in the following format: 1. Name 2. Father’s Name 3. Date of Birth 4. Sex 5. Nationality 6. Category (Gen/SC/ST/OBC) 7. Postal Address 8.Phone No & Email, 9. Educational Qualification starting from 10th standard; stating subjects, school/university, year of passing, percentage of marks, 10. Experience 11. Sponsored- / Non- sponsored (if sponsored – attach the certificate from employer), 12. Signature. Attach self-attested copies of proof of item No. 3, 6(if OBC/SC/ST), 9, 10 and 11.
