B. Arch (5 Year) : Architecture

B.E (4-Year) : Aeronautical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.

B.Tech (4-Year) : Bio-Technology / Chemical Engineering / Information Technology

Eligibility :

B.E/B.Tech : A pass in 10+2 examination or a pass in one of the HSC (Vocational Stream) with Engineering / Technology Vocational subjects and any ONE or TWO of related subjects like Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry with minimum marks in the relevant subjects. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) candidates are eligible for all the programmes. Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) candidates are eligible only for Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering programmes. Candidates seeking admission should have appeared for the Periyar Maniammai University Entrance Test – 2010 (PMUET – 2010).

B.Arch : 50 % aggregate marks in 10+2 or a pass in 10+3 Diploma or IB Diploma with 40% marks in NATA. For SC/ST candidates with not less than 45% marks in aggregate with 40% marks in NATA, conducted by COA, New Delhi. Candidates seeking admissions to B.Arch should have taken only NATA examination and not PMUET – 2010. Candidates have to submit their filled in application along with an attested copy of the NATA score card.

Application Procedure : If a candidate wishes to apply for more than one programme i.e B.Arch or B.E/B.Tech, he/she should use a separate application form for each programme. An application sent will be considered for only one programme.

b) Those who are applying under Differently abled quota should submit an attested copy of medical certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner, not below the rank of Civil Surgeon stating the Nature with percentage of disability, in the form enclosed.

c) Those who are applying for Sports Quota should submit a copy of International/ National/State/District level participation certificate.

Duly filled in application should be sent along with a demand draft covering the cost of application in favour of “The Registrar, PMU” payable at Vallam Thanjavur for the above said amount. Attested copies of the following testimonials should be enclosed with the application in the prescribed form. S.S.L.C Mark sheet / Community certificate / Citizenship (Family card issued by civic supply office) / Sports, NCC, and other co- and extracurricular activities / HSC Mark sheet / Transfer Certificate / Nativity and Migration Certificate for other state candidates / Medical fitness certificate and Blood group certificate / Recent Passport size Photos – 5 Nos.
