MANIPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY – TECHTATVA MANAGEMENT FEST 2010

This autumn MIT brings to you its biggest techno management fest TECHTATVA 10! Come be a part of this 5 day extravaganza which promises you the best opportunity to unleash your technical and managerial skills and leave you wanting for more! Techtatva aims at bringing students from across the nation onto one common platform to run a wild race which would test their skills and expertise in science and management as well as expose them to a plethora of new opportunities. Scheduled from the 21st to the 25th of September this year Techtatva 10 promises to be bigger and better!

TechTatva is the Annual Techno-Management Festival of the MITians. This is widely attended by students from across the nation. TechTatva brings the best brains together to celebrate the spirit of innovation and revel in the joy of togetherness as we meet and greet our fellow engineers and management students from across the country.

Rules & Regulations:
You can either register online or at dedicated info desks in MIT Campus.
Those registering for any of the workshop will have to show their WORKSHOPS DELEGATE CARD.
You can register and attend any workshop using your WORKSHOPS DELEGATE CARD.
If in any of the workshop, some kit or some study material is being provided, it will cost extra on the part of the participants, depending on the cost of the kit/study material.
Those registering online will have the option of registering for multiple workshops at a time. After selecting the desired workshops, you have to state your delegate card no.
For OUT-STATION PARTICIPANTS, those who do not have delegate cards, will have the option of registering for the delegate cards online. A delegate card number will be issued online. When they come to attend the workshop, they have to state their delegate card no. at the info desk and after making a requisite payment at the info desk, can get a physical delegate card issued, which they need to attend the workshop that they had registered for, online.
MIT Students can also register online for a delegate card, following the same procedure as mentioned above.
Delegate cards and delegate card nos. are NOT TRANSFERABLE.

Hope and jobs for students at Delhi University's job fair

New Delhi: At a time jobs are becoming scarce and pink slips the order of the day with the global meltdown, there is reason to cheer. Delhi University's newly-launched Central Placement Cell has provided jobs to at least 200 undergraduate students with major companies, including IT major Wipro, pharma giant Ranbaxy and BPO major Genpact. The first phase of recruitment took place between Dec 8 and 10 in which around 154 students got employment. The second phase, which began Jan 21 and ended on Tuesday, ensured jobs to 45 applicants, while 440 short-listed students are awaiting results of their applications. "Around 4,564 students from 48 colleges participated in this job fair in which around 200 students have been ensured good position in top companies. The response of the students was good," Seema M.
