APEEJAY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY – PGDM ADMISSION 2010

Apeejay Institute of Technology, an off-spring of Apeejay Education Society, was established in 1997 in a sprawling campus having an area of 29 acres at one of the most prestigious location in Knowledge Park-1,Greater Noida. The campus en-houses School of Management, School of Computer Science, School of Architecture & Planning and School of Management for Women. The Institute has academic Collaboration with counterpart Institutions abroad for project work and knowledge sharing.

Eligibility: Female cadidates:
* Graduation in any discipline.
* A valid CAT/XAT/MAT/ AIT-score (Test conducted by AIT)
* Students appearing in the final year examination of graduation may also apply.

Duration: 2 Years (Six Trimesters)

No. of Seats: 60Admission Procedure: Candidates will be short listed based on merit and will be called for group discussions and interview at Institute Campus, Greater Noida. The overall weighted average performance will be worked out based on the following parameters, provided a candidate obtained minimum 50% marks in each of these parameters.
20% for academic performance
50% for admission test
15% for group discussion
15% for personal interview

How To Apply: Sale of Prospectus: The price of this prospectus along with application form is Rs.700/-(Non refundable) and can be obtained from :
1. www.apeejay.edu/aitw and should be submitted with a Demand Draft of Rs. 700/- drawn in favour of “AIT – School of Management” payable at Greater Noida or New Delhi.
2. The Office of Registrar – AIT Greater Noida, by paying Rs.700/- or sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 750/- drawn in favour of “AIT – School of Management” payable at Greater Noida or New Delhi.
3. Any branch of Axis Bank across the country with a payment of Rs.700/-.

Dates for AIT test / Group Discussion & Personal Interview : 9th March, 2010 onwards.
Declaration of Results (Within One Week of GD/PI) : 31st March, 2010 onwards.
Deposit of Fee : 8th April, 2010 (As per Selection Letter)
Reporting of Students at Campus : 27-30th June, 2010
Commencement of Class : 1st July, 2010

Overseas Muslims' forum honours Muslim students in India

Agra: The American Federation of Muslims of Indian Origin (AFMI) has honoured 77 Muslim students from across the country for educational excellence in Class 10 and 12 examinations as part of its mission to boost education among the minority community. The students, from 18 states, were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals at the annual convention of the federation by Haryana Governor A.R. Kidwai late on Saturday evening. The AFMI is a north America-based grassroots organisation to advance the cause of Muslims and other underprivileged masses in India.
