KARNATAKA – MBA ADMISSION 2010 – NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with not less than 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in the aggregate, taking into account the marks scored in all subjects of all the University Examinations conducted during the entire prescribed period of the degree programme. Final year students can also apply but admission is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
Selection Procedure: CAT Score: Admission is based on the Rank/Score obtained in the CAT and Group Discussion and Interview.
MBA Curriculum: The curriculum / programme of instruction consists of the following
* Credit based curriculum.
* 2 year duration MBA programme divided into 4 semesters.
* Foundation courses (7), Core courses (7) & Advanced courses (5) that have to be compulsorily taken by all the students of the programme.
* Elective courses are offered in 4 different groups of specialization: Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance, & Operations.
* Laboratory courses.
* Seminars.
* Mini projects.
* Major Project of 28 credits is undertaken in fourth semester.
* Total 100 credits are to be earned by a student to be awarded MBA degree.
