GUJARAT – B.TECH ADMISSION 2010 – SCHOOL OF PETROLEUM TECHNOLOGY

School of Petroleum Technology offers 4 Year B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering with desirable flexibility to young aspirants seeking admission. The curriculum is modern, flexible as well as futuristic with a strong emphasis on sound fundamentals, problem solving, and practical exposure to real life situations. This would be achieved through active and continued partnership, right from the first semester, with GSPC (Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation) on – shore and Off-shore Oil & Gas Operations, as well as with other E&P companies and National and International Universities, Consultants and Business Associates. This will also ensure regular update of curriculum through incorporation of latest developments and operations challenges in Oil & Gas activities focusing on exploration and production.

Eligibility and Admission Criteria for Applicants:
• have a minimum academic qualification of 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• should appear in AIEEE 2010 examination being conducted by CBSE on 25th April, 2010.
• submit a separate application to School of Petroleum Technology in the prescribed Application Form.
Application Deadline: Last date for receiving completed Application Form is May 8th, 2010

How To Apply: A candidate will have to apply in the prescribed School of Petroleum Technology Application Form. The Application Form will be made available through the following channels:
• At the selected branches of Axis Bank (Formerly UTI Bank) as given below, by paying Rs.1200/-
• Sending a demand draft of Rs. 1200/- in favour of “Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University” Payable at Ahmedabad.
