Introduction: First is of 11 months followed by 2 months internship. The second will have 6 months class room coaching and 3 months internship / social project / research according to the interest of students. This will be sectoral as well as function specific. Facilitating “learning” (not mere studying for exam), understanding business and entrepreneurship realities through action learning / assignments, projects, thesis, portfolios etc will be essential aspects of this advanced level coaching. Focus will on facilitating development of applied insights in students to make them easily adapt to organizational work and quickly become “performers”. Making them competitive and competent to be employable at the earliest is the objective.

Special Division for weak students : with bridge programme of 40 days .Number of seats: 60.

Specialisations: Marketing & Sales / Finance & Financial Services / Human Resource / Manufacturing & Operations / Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Building.
Eligibility: Graduates (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline from any recognized university. Final year students can also apply. On successful completion of this programme, students can opt to enroll for the advanced programme stated below (batch 2010-11), or take up placement / pursue entrepreneurship as per their interest /aspirations.

Selection Procedure: Group Discussion first and the short-listed then go for a written test consisting of English (essay writing), case analysis (may be with data), basic applied maths and a psychometric evaluation. Academic performance above 60% in 10th, 12th & Graduation and scores of CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CET and OPENMAT will have appropriate weightage. This will lead to pre-final merit list to be put on our website on 15th March 2009. Campus visit for Medical fitness test & seeing the campus before admission : Those who are in the pre-final merit list and keen to join SCMLD should visit SCMLD campus along with parents between 20th & 30th of March 2009 and see the campus, seek clarifications, interact with existing /ex-students and decide to join or not. If decided to join, such candidates will go for a general / routine medical check-up and a psycho analytical test.Subject to clearence of these two fitness tests, admission will be offered on which fees to be paid by bank DD or bank challan only, to confirm the admission. Therefore they should come prepared to stay in Pune for at least 2 days. Charges for the medical fitness and psychoanalytical tests are to be borne by the candidates.

How to Apply: For Interested candidates who have gone through our entire website and are interested in seeking admission in SCMLD : Download and fill up the Admission application form (with Admit card) and courier to SCMLD together with:

(1) An a/c payee DD of Rs 1050/- drawn in favour of “Director, SCMLD” payable at Pune. This amount is for Courier charge, Cost of prospectus and administrative & processing fee (non-refundable). Mention your Name, Address, Phone / Mobile No. & Email – Id on the reverse of the DD as well. (2) 4 self addressed stickers (size – 44 X 100 mm) with PIN code and Telephone Nos. (3) 2 latest passport size color photographs. The prospectus will be couriered to your address on receipt of the admission application form. If blue dart courier service is not available at your location, kindly specify the name of the courier service provider / speed post through which prospectus can be dispatched. Please attach this as a note together with the application form.
