USA – WWW CONFERENCE 2010 – RALEIGH CONVENTION CENTER
Introduction: The World Wide Web Conference is a yearly international conference on the topic of the future direction of the World Wide Web. It began in 1994 at CERN and is organized by the International World Wide Web Conferences Steering Committee (IW3C2). The Conference aims to provide the world a premier forum for discussion and debate about the evolution of the Web, the standardization of its associated technologies, and the impact of those technologies on society and culture. The conference brings together researchers, developers, users and commercial ventures—indeed all those who are passionate about the Web and what it has to offer. WWW2010 will focus on “openness” in web technologies, standards and practices, and will showcase the best of the region’s technology and culture.
Call For Papers: The Organizing Committee of the Nineteenth International World Wide Web Conference (WWW2010) welcomes the participation of researchers from around the world to submit original and pioneering research related to the Web for presentation and discussion next April in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since its inception in 1994, the WWW Conference series has evolved into the longest-standing annual meeting on the topic of the future direction of the World Wide Web. The conference is a premier global forum for productive debate about the evolution of the Web, the standardization of its associated technologies, and the impact of those technologies on society and culture. The conference brings together researchers, developers, users and commercial ventures—indeed all those who are passionate about the Web and what it has to offer. Please see the Call for Papers for details and deadlines.
Formatting Guidelines: Refereed papers must be submitted as PDF documents. No other format will be accepted. It is the responsibility of all authors to produce PDF documents that can be read and printed on any platform. Please check to ensure that you can produce PDF documents well before the submission deadline. The inability to produce a PDF document will not result in an extension of the paper submission deadline. Refereed papers must be no longer than 10 pages overall, including title, references, figures, diagrams, appendices, etc. Over-length or incorrectly formatted submissions will be rejected without reviewing.
Registration: Accepted refereed papers must be presented at the conference by an author who is registered to attend. Conference registration is mandatory. Accepted papers of non-registered authors will be withdrawn from the program and the conference proceedings without exception.
Conference Venue: The venue for WWW2010 is the new Raleigh Convention Center, a state-of-the-art facility that opened in September 2008. It is located in the heart of downtown Raleigh and steps away from two major hotels, restaurants, arts and entertainment.
