Age Limit: The upper age limit for all the posts is upto 30 years As On 1.1.2009.
Scale of Pay: TGTs Rs. 9500/- p,m fixed (Likely to be enhanced), Scale of Pay: JBTs Rs. 8000/- p.m. fixed (Likely to be enhanced).
Essential Qualification & Experience:
(i) 4 year integrated Bachelor Degree course with relevant subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR Bachelor degree of a recognized University with relevant subjects with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and B.Ed. degree recognized by NICTE.
(ii) 10+2 with atleast 50% marks and Graduate or its equivalent from a recognized university, with at least 40% marks with diploma or certificate in Basic Teacher Training of not less than 2 years duration recognized by NCTE with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR JBT Certificate/Diploma of not less than 2 years duration with at least 50% marks recognized by Chandigarh Administration.

Applications on the prescribed either in drop-box or by registered post duly filled alongwith self – attested copies of all testimonials and passport size photograph should be sent at Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School, Sector 22-A, Chandigarh by 13th August, 2009 upto 2.00 pm.
Fees: DD/pay order/ banker’s cheque/ cash order, Rs. 250/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/ PH candidates), payable at Chandigah in favour of the State Project Director, SSA Society, U.T., Chandigarh. Separate fee is to be paid for each post applied.
