Panjab University increases seats for 36 colleges

Chandigarh: 36 colleges affiliated to the Panjab University has received nod from the varsity to increase 20 seats each in every courses. The syndicate of the varsity has taken the decision.

Colleges recommended by the committee formed in the last syndicate meeting to visit these institutions and review the infrastructure offered by them have been allowed to increase the seats.

Seats have been increased in under-graduate courses including BCom, BBA and BCA.

Among the 36 colleges that had applied for increasing the numbers of seats, 14 were city colleges, most of them private institutions
