UGC allocates fund to Guru Jambheshwar University
Chandigarh (Haryana): A grant of Rs.10.83 crore has been allocated to the Guru Jambheshwar Science and Technology University in Hissar by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
"More than Rs.5.12 crore had been sanctioned under the General Development Grant Scheme, which was 150 per cent more than the amount sanctioned during the 10th Plan," said Davender Dayal Singh Sandhu, Vice-Chancellor, Guru Jambheshwar University.
Similarly, over Rs.5.65 crore had been sanctioned for various amalgamated schemes, which was 255 per cent more as compared to the amount sanctioned for these schemes during the 10th Plan.
