IIFM join hands with US institutes to offer joint MBAs

Mumbai: In collaboration with the Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL), ranked amongst the top 10 law schools in the world, the Indian Institute of Financial Management (IIFM) has launched its Mumbai campus to offer joint MBAs.

The first is a two-year MBA plus MS degree in business law in partnership with the Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL) and the second degree is being offered jointly by the American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM), the largest financial education institution in the world at lower costs.
The degree is an MBA combined with globally upheld certifications of CWM (Chartered Wealth Management) and E-commerce.

"IIFM is the only institute in India to have tied up with such prestigious institutes for a joint degree," said Jagmohan Bhanver, CEO of IIFM.

"Students having any commonly accepted entrance scores can apply for admission. The classes will start from July," added Bhanver.

20 students will be selected for the first batch.The lectures will be 100% video-conferenced by world renowned faculty teaching at the partner US institutes.

"Apart from this, for their classroom lectures they will also have professors from institutes like SP Jain and IIMs."
After the successful completion of the programme students will be awarded degree certificates from IIFM and the partner US institute.

They will avail of their career services cells to help place them in the best and most well paid jobs globally.

"We have also tied up with blue chip corporates in banking, FMCGs, automobile, pharma, BPO, manufacturing for students desirous of a career in India," informed Bhanver.
