IGNOU to offer B.A. in 3D animation

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will soon offer a B.A. degree in 3D animation and visual effects. Diploma in computer generated imagery and a certificate in film making will also be offered by IGNOU.

All these courses will be offered by IGNOU in partnership with Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC).

Syllabus of the course will be jointly managed by a joint coordination committee of IGNOU and MAAC.

Soft skills, business and production management training will also be provided in addition to detailed technical and creative skills.

Examination norms and assessment will be done by IGNOU, while the courses will be conducted at MAAC education centres.
