IIIT- Allahabad to host second Science Conclave from December 8, 2009
Allahabad: The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-A) will host the second Science Conclave from December 8-15, 2009.
The first Science Conclave was held at IIIT-A from December 15-21, 2008 which was a congregation of Nobel Laureates from across the World.
A weeklong Science Conclave from December 15 to 21, 2008 was organized at IIIT-A campus with an aim to rejuvenate Science Education in the world in general and India in particular.
This was the first biggest science gathering in the country ever held, as Nobel Laureates from across the world participated in the Science Conclave.
Martin Lewis Perl, Jerome Isaac Friedman, Harod 'Harry' Walter Kroto, Claude Cohen Tannoudji and A.A. Slavnov participated in the Science Conclave held at IIIT-A.
