Jamia organizes symposium on Pakistan
New Delhi: A symposium on "Pakistan- The road ahead" has been organized by the centre for Zakir Hussain studies and the department of Political Science of the Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) here at the campus.
The seminar was addressed by Vikram Sood former director Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), Prem Shankar Jha senior journalist, G. Parhsarthy former Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan and Kamal Mitra Chenoy of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
The symposium has been chaired by Barkha Dutt of NDTV.
In addition to the symposium on Pakistan, a two day international seminar on "India and North Africa under globalization" is also being organized by the Academy of third world studies of JMI and African Studies Association of India from today only at the campus.
