Limitless job opportunities are provided by Environmental Science & engineering . Engineers can be recruited in Central and State pollution control boards. Engineers with a B.E degree receives a salary anywhere between Rs.15,000 - Rs.30,000. Candidates with a postgraduate degree may start with a decent salary range of Rs. 35000 - Rs. 50000 and with a Ph.D it becomes Rs. 50000 - Rs. 75000. A licensed engineer can expect a salary of Rs. 1 lakh per month.
