JAIPUR – PGDHM/PGDPM ADMISSION 2010 – IHMR

IIHMR is a WHO Collaborating Centre for District Health System based on Primary Health Care and is RANKED 1st amongst top 10 healthcare management Institute fo India. It is accredited by NBA, has been granted equivalence to MBA by AIU. Foreign students and PIOs are permitted.

Eligibility:
PGDHM – Candidates with minimum 50% in the degree exam from a recognized University with duration of Three years. Candidate appearing in their final year degree may also apply. The candidate must have taken any one of the Management Aptitude Test (minimum MAT Composite Score 550, MAT scores of September, December, 2009 and February and May, 2010 are acceptable). Mid-career professionals, graduates (with a minimum of two-year’ relevant work experience in the healthcare sector after graduation) are exempted from MAT.

PGDPM – Candidates with minimum 50% marks in a bachelor’s degree examination in Pharmacy, Medicine, Science, Biotechnology, Management and other relevant areas from a recognized University with duration of Three years. Candidate appearing in their final year degree examination may also apply. The candidate must have taken anyone of the Management Aptitude Test (Minimum MAT Scores 550.
Selection Procedure: Qualifying candidates are required to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview during April 15-17, and June 17-19, 2010. The GD and PI of all candidates will be conducted at IIHMR, Jaipur. There is a common Application Form for Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management for Delhi/Jaipur. The candidates are required to indicate their preference of institution for admission in Jaipur/Delhi. Allotment of Institute in the main admission list will be done on merit and preference criteria. Seats are not transferable.

Application Procedure: Download the Application Form and Prospectus from www.iihmr.org / www.iihmrdelhi.org. The duly filled Application Forms be forwarded to Dean Academic and Student Affairs (Admissions’ Authority), IIHMR, 1, Prabhu Dayal Marg, Sanganer Airport, Jaipur 302011 along with a DD of Rs 1000/- in favour of “Institute of Health Management Research” payable at Jaipur or in cash.

Overseas Muslims' forum honours Muslim students in India

Agra: The American Federation of Muslims of Indian Origin (AFMI) has honoured 77 Muslim students from across the country for educational excellence in Class 10 and 12 examinations as part of its mission to boost education among the minority community. The students, from 18 states, were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals at the annual convention of the federation by Haryana Governor A.R. Kidwai late on Saturday evening. The AFMI is a north America-based grassroots organisation to advance the cause of Muslims and other underprivileged masses in India.
